My Thoughts:
Want an uplifting, clean, romantic seasonal read this this Christmas? Then try An Unexpected Kiss (Book 1) from the Christmas in Snow Valley Box Set. I don’t read a lot of romance novels because it can be difficult to find good clean ones and because I like my books to have a story and not just be some man or woman gushing over someone beautiful person of the opposite sex.
Well, you’ll get a story rather than gushing in An Unexpected Kiss. It’s a story that will warm your heart and get you thinking about others. I loved the message this story had to deliver. The delivery of the message is clear, but gently done.
I thought the characters where well developed throughout the book. I sympathized with the main character whose ex-boyfriend doesn’t want to give up on trying to win Lucy back (though I don’t know if I’d be so bold as to grab a stranger and start kissing him). I liked that Lucy and the doctor’s relationship was built on activities and not just physical attraction as happens in many romance novels.
This book is an example of quality romance fiction. I rated this novel at 5 stars out of 5. It will be on my shelf for a long time.
