Feature and Follow Friday #4

What Its All About!
Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools -- keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Today's Question

Give us a tour of your bookshelf:

Well, I can't really give you a visual tour of my bookshelf, since I have to take the pictures with my iPad. And of course, I am using my iPad for all my reading. But I will give you a written tour.

I use 4 main apps for reading books:

1. Kindle for iPad
2. Overdrive Media
3. CBDReader
4. iBooks

I have a total of 77 books on these 4 apps. I have read 14 books since July 24th when I started my blog. I guess that means I have a lot of books on my TBR list.

Rules

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  8. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

  1. My bookshelves are all virtual now too. Though, I still have a roomful of messy bookcases. When I pulled the TBR list on my Kindle, I just about died...47 to read in the next few months. And those are just the ones I have now, not for all the tours I'm hosting. Sigh.

Thanks for stopping by my FF. Following via GFC.

  5. Thanks for coming. I don't think I'll ever finish my TBR pile. There are always more interesting books coming out.

  6. I'm glad I'm not the only one who was struggling to find a way to show my shelves - I think a physical count would have been overwhelming for me :-)

And I see that you're a newbie blog like me! I stared just a few weeks before you on July 9th of this year. Don't you just love it :-) Looking forward to getting to know you better. Followed you back on bloglovin and shelfari :-)

  8. I don't like buying virtual books, because it doesn't feel the same to me. However, to each her own :)

Thanks for stopping by at my FF. I followed back with GFC.

  9. I switched over to e-books a few years ago because my physical books have exploded out of their shelves and taken over every available surface in my house LOL. I have a Nook now and it's getting pretty full too. I just can't seem to resist! Thanks for stopping by and I'm following you back on Bloglovin'.
